About the Palladium Bermuda Sea Venture

This stunning coin issued by the government of Bermuda commemorates the role of the seventeenth-century English sailing ship, the Sea Venture, in the establishment of the colony of Bermuda.

In 1609, the English Virginia Company, which had established Jamestown in Virginia two years earlier, permanently settled Bermuda when a hurricane forced the crew of the Sea Venture to steer the ship onto the island’s surrounding reef to prevent sinking.

This impressive Palladium Bermuda Sea Venture coin was struck in Varied years by the Singapore Mint from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine palladium, one of the earth’s rarest metals. The coin measures 34 mm in diameter, with a reported mintage of 15,000 per year.

This coin is eligible for placement inside a Precious Metals IRA.
