The Silver Eagle Ray is offered by the Perth Mint. With its high purity content and unique weight, this coin is popular with collectors and investors.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1.5 oz. of .9999 silver and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965.

This unique sea creature is characterized by its flat body. Their structure is composed of cartilage rather than bones. Because of their venom and a barbed tail, interacting too closely with one of these creatures could be painful and potentially fatal.

The eagle ray can be found in many places, including The Great Barrier Reef in Australia, home to an array of seal dwellers and beautiful coral gardens.

The coin’s reverse includes an Australian spotted eagle ray, the inscription ‘Australian Spotted Eagle Ray’, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date, the weight and purity, and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.
