The New Zealand Mint’s Silver Elk is a highly sought-after only recently produced coin.
This coin features the Elk which symbolizes strength, power, and perseverance.
Each coin is struck by the NZ Mint from 1.5 OZ of .999 silver and issued as legal tender of the Sovereign government of Niue ($2 XCD).
The coin’s reverse includes an Elk, the inscription ‘Rocky Mountain Elk Fine Silver .999 1.5oz.’ The Obverse center inset features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wearing the “Girls of Great Britain and Ireland” diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary.
